Power Verse # 6 - Isaiah 40:31

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

(Isaiah 40: 31)

This is a mighty verse to hold on to. The promise of the Lord is strength for those whose trust is in Him. We must not rely on our own puny strength for they are limited but must rely on the strength of the Lord to carry us on eagle's wings as we soar above the the storms of our lives. We can run and not grow weary and we can walk and never tire. This is the promise of the Lord for the renewal of our strength anchored on His own supernatural strength. Are you deprived of strength by any energy sapping disease? Then claim and hold on to this promise and see the Lord heal your disease and restore your natural and inner strength. He gives us the power to mount on wings like the eagles and to soar above the storms of problems and trials in our lives.

Power Verse # 5 - Proverbs 3: 5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."

(Proverbs 3: 5-6)

This is something that is totally opposed to the teaching of the world for man's self reliance. In this verse, man is taught not to rely on one's own faculties and intelligence but to trust God for all of one's needs. This does not mean that man should just lie down and expect blessings to fall down from the skies. This means that we should hold on to God's promises and believe in His faithfulness to fulfill all of His promises. There are such things as spiritual realities or realities in the heavenly realms. And there are physical realities or those that are happening in this world which our five senses can comprehend. This verse means we have to believe in the spiritual realities of God's words even though the physical realities do not match them. Let me give you examples to elucidate this point. Even though there is no food at the dinner table, we should say our prayers before meal and thank God for His bountiful provisions, believing that that He who multiplied five loaves of bread and two small fishes to feed five thousand men excluding women and children can do the same for us. It means thanking Him for good health and healing even though we feel physical pain in our bodies and the doctor says that we are sick. Miracles are offshoots of a living faith in God. So let us practice trusting God alone erasing in our minds all negative thoughts.

Power Verse # 4 - Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Jeremiah 29:11

God never intended any harm to befall His children. In fact, it is His good pleasure to prosper us in all that we do in accordance with His will. In everything that we will encounter in life, how gloomy some of them maybe, God always gives us hope for a better future. Remember, Jesus Christ came that we might have life, and have it to the full. If we position ourselves to become channels of God's blessings to our fellowmen by obeying His will and by walking in His ways, then God will pour down upon us showers of blessings that we can never contain. It is best to seek God's purpose for our lives that in so doing, we will align our lives to God's purposes thereby assuring us of continuous blessings and love from God.

Power Verse # 3 - Romans 8:28

"All things work together for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."
(Romans 8:28)

This verse affirms the goodness of God to all who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior, and who have surrendered their lives to Him. They are called children of God and co-heirs with Jesus Christ in the kingdom of heaven. But this does not mean that God's children will be immune from trials and persecutions. As their characters are molded to suit after the pattern of God's perfect vessels, to do good works and glorify His name, the children of God will undergo sufferings, trials and persecutions. These are not punishments but a process of purification and molding of character. And God gave man this verse that reassures that whatever happens in the lives of His children, these are all good and their purposes will be revealed in God's perfect time when God's children are finally transformed from glory to glory until they reached the whole measure of the fullness of Jesus Christ. This is a verse of tender reassurance of God's love, mercy and grace to His beloved children.

Power Verse # 2 - Philippians 4:19

"But my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)

This verse virtually unlocks the portals of heaven so that God's abundant blessings and provisions should rain down upon us. This verse affirms our total dependence on God for everything that we need in life, whether spiritual, physical or even financial. We should not worry or fear the uncertainty of the future for God said, "let tomorrow worry about itself." He taught us to pray for our daily bread because He wants us to always focus on the source of all blessings and provisions in life. This verse is also a very powerful prayer that can be addressed to the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit. We should pray it with a humble and expectant heart, fully believing that God will always keep His promises and answer all our prayers.

Power Verse No. 1 - Philippians 4:13

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."  (Philippians 4:13)

This is one of the most powerful verses in the Bible.  It unlocks the limitless power and resources of heaven through the key, who is Jesus Christ.  The Father will grant the prayers of those who will use this vital key to heaven who is Jesus Christ.  This verse promises limitless results.  It does not say many things or some things but the infinite phrase- all things.  That means nothing is impossible to those who have faith in  Jesus Christ.  Remember when Jesus was walking on water and the Apostles were  so terrified  when they saw Him walking on water.  He pacified them by telling them that it was Him.  Peter said to Jesus that if it was really Him let him (Peter) come to Him also walking on water.  Jesus said come and Peter began to walk on water.  But when he saw the waves and felt the strong gust of winds he started to fear  and he began to sink in the water.  He was rescued by Jesus from drowning.

Daniel was spared  from the lions jaws when thrown into the lion's pit because of his great faith in God.  So were Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego who did not succumbed to flames when thrown into the fiery furnace because of their abiding faith in God.

Meditate on this verse and let it strengthen your faith in Jesus Christ and you will get whatever your heart desires.  But of course, your desire must be in accordance with the will of God because God will never contradict Himself.  Try it and see your life be transformed from a wishy- washy, trial- and- error and I- hope-I-get-lucky  life to a blessed, abundant, prosperous and purpose driven life.
